Happy Birthday Sheena!

Happy Birthday to the best friend a girl could ask for! Sheena, you are like my sister and the times that we have shared together are what a true friendship is all about. I love that you are by my side in almost every awkward situation. God has truly blessed me with a friend that I can rely on when I need some one to make me laugh, or just to let me cry. I love you Sheena Jill. Happy 26th Birthday! And yes I'm throwing out the numbers now:)

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Ok so it is not Valentine's Day yet, but I have been baking up a storm for all of the party orders and couldn't wait to share these with you. I love Valentine's Day. It is one of my favorite holidays just because it's all about the love and of course SWEETS. Hope you enjoy!

Happy Birthday Emersyn!

My little girl Emersyn turned 3 years old this Saturday.  It seems as if only yesterday she was born. I will never forget her first cry the day I delivered her in the hospital. From that moment on I was a changed person. I am so thankful that God saw me fit to be her mother. What an amazing gift he has given me and to him I will be forever thankful. On a side note, we definitely partied it up this weekend. Here are a couple of pics.

Happy Early Birthday To Me!

I have been searching for a new cake stand for a while now and when I found this one I knew it was the one. To top it off, I also found a round dish that matched. I was super excited. This was an early birthday present to myself. LOL I am going to use the cake stand this weekend for Emersyn's birthday cake. Hopefully it will be a hit. I can't wait! 

Cupcake Pops!

This is my latest project, Cupcake Pops! I seen this idea and thought this would be such a cute treat for any occasion. My plan is to make these for my daughter's Valentine's Day party at her school. We are also doing a Strawberry Shortcake theme party for her birthday in February and these just might show up again. They were a lot of fun to make as well as very messy. I love them and they taste great. They are just simple cake balls covered  in melting chocolate. I'm going to post the recipe for these in my recipe section. Hope you enjoy!

Hello Blogger :)

So the new blog is up and running. I am so excited about sharing my passion for cake decorating on here. A big thanks to Becca at "Jumping Jax Designs" for designing my blog. She did an awesome job! I hope to update my blog frequently with each of my new projects and of course my flops LOL. For the most part, I have been teaching myself as I go. I took a cake decorating class and from then on I was hooked. It is so rewarding to bring something to life with the simple flour and sugar. I hope you enjoy my blog!
